Calc ERP it’s a tool created for the traders of computers and computers components with the purpose to make their work easier.
Because from the title and short “what it is” description, one can not understand much we well get to presenting what the application learned to do so far.
As a first facility, because we talk about computer and components traders, we mention the management of clients and suppliers based on the next hierarchy: a client/supplier can have multiple headquarters that in turn can have multiple accounts on various banks and multiple contact persons with multiple contact methods. There is no limitation on any of these. The names of the clients and suppliers are visible all the time in the application and by a single mouse click one can access the detailed contact information.
Since the company trades diverse products, these can be imported in the application from an .xls file or by individual adding. The traded product groups can be consulted at any time from the dedicated window that offers grouping and sorting possibilities for ease of use.---In the moment of an acquisition, the invoice is entered into the application that in turn generates the NIR (Entrance and Reception Note). As a particularity we would say that the components that have a serial number are added individually because the application tracks a product by its serial number. The stock can be visualized at any time with a click of the mouse. The application keeps an invoice history.
Because the applications targeted companies don’t trade only components but also custom systems and upgrade kits the application learned how to manage these things. For this purpose we have created a nodule that lets the user define custom systems and upgrade kits components. Through the same module already defined systems and kits can be visualized.----Now that there are components, custom systems and upgrade kits on stock they can be sold. Through the sales section one can sell components, custom systems and upgrade kits together or separated. Everything that is sold can automatically be added to a service contract to avoid the manual adding at a later time. When the sell is completed, the application automatically generates the guaranty certificate and the assembly and test forms. All the information about a sell is kept as history for a later visualization.
The application also has a service module as it is expected from the target company also to offer maintenance and service to their customers. Any client can have one or more service contracts for the systems that they own no mater who supplied them. Through this module one can see the components of a system and the history of the system and system components.
